EROS Alliance

Welcome to the Washington College Encouraging Respect of Sexuality Alliance webpage. We are a GLBT&A (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Allies) alliance that exists to raise awareness of GLBT issues and to provide an environment where GLBT individuals can socialize without having to closet themselves out of fear. Our mission is to do out part to make this country a truly equal place where people can love whoever they please and take part in the full spectrum of human experience without fear of violence.

EROS, known to its members as the Big Gay Club, has hosted several demonstrations and awareness-raising activities, but we also know how to party with the best of them. Our most recent regular activity is the EROS Movie Night in which we show movies that deal with issues faced by the GLBT community.

EROS is a club open to people of any sexuality, not just those of us who love outside the box. If you are truly interested in joining the Washington College EROS group, you can check out our club meeting minutes to get a feel for typical EROS shenanigans, or join the mailing list and jump on in. If you are a student of another college or went to form your own GLBT group at your insitution, then check out our online resources for all sorts of good stuff. If you still have questions, you can even try e-mailing our club officers and they can try answering. :)

If you ever get lost on this site, just use the drop-down menu to navigate.
